It’s currently 4:32am EST, and we are starting now.  The update will take a few minutes, but re-customization may take a few hours.

In this process we are deleting old private videos that no longer seem to hold any importance to our account. They are all over on the Unbounded Productions page anyway.

Another thing that we are going to be working on is a new video page that will list the songs in a much better manner. The new YouTube playlists do not do a very good job of this.

This stuff should be implemented over the next few days if not by later tonight.

On top of the Audio changes we have also added several new song files to the list.  A brand new demo of the Madness called the Elevator Mix, which is bass, drums, synth strings, and acoustic guitar, has been added to the site, as well as The full “Intro” and “Outro” tracks that were going to be on the Black Misery EP Dark Risings.

We’ve also updated the Media sections front page with descriptions about each sub page. At the moment we are looking into a better way of presenting the videos, and looking into creating a streamable photo gallery of photos of the band.  Once the new photo gallery is implemented we will be removing the photo gallery found on the site here, as it takes up way too much space on our server.

We’ve also done several other updates over the last few days, but most of them were minor and I honestly cannot remember what they were. 

• Forums moved to the new location and redone somewhat: http://blissfulmisery.unboundedmusic.com/forums
• Updated Media: Videos to contain videos from Black Misery that are now relevant to Blissful Misery. 

We’ve upgraded to a new version of WordPress, which offered so much extra stuff built into the native theme that we couldn’t pass up on a major update.  After upgrading we customized the native theme to our liking, and even kept a little of the old Madness theme around. Originally we had planned to keep as much of the old theme as possible, but everything looked so good without adding the extra background images that we felt they were no longer needed.  All of the extra modifications would of just been unnecessary work.

The new theme allows us to have new header images, and to randomly display them with each page load. With this feature we can easily have our page looking different and fresh all the time.

We’ve also updated the content of most of the pages on the site, and even separated some of the pages from their original parent sections.  A lot of stuff was listed under Community that we felt didn’t belong there.

More to come:

• Forums here will be deleted.
• New Forums will be setup on the Unbounded Productions server and linked to.
• The theme here will be updated to use a child theme system so we don’t have to constantly customize the theme with every update.
• Songs from Black Misery will be added to our site since the bands have merged.
• New recordings, videos, and extras will be added to the site as they become available, but we hope for them to be available very soon.

Updates:

• The child theme system has now been created and implemented.
• The Forums have been moved.

The forums haven’t really been active for a long time, and I believe it was due to so much old content. Well, that along with the fact that the bands been pretty inactive for a long time now.

However, starting sometime soon I will really begin my new, but last,  journey with the band.  I hope in this time all of the Blissful Misery fans come together and have a good time chatting it up on the forums.

I”ll be looking into removing the old math protection feature. However, I have added a new CAPTCHA protection that seems to be working well.

If the site does start messing up I’m going to change the theme over to the new 3.0 default and dress it up Blissful style. I will be creating a new theme for Unbounded Productions to use with the new version of WordPress. However, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get to it.

For payment methods we are able to accept credit cards via Zazzle itself. I think they may accept PayPal as well, but I’m not sure yet. However, for anyone wishing to pay with a check or money order we will accept them, order your products, and have them sent to you when the check / money order has cleared in the bank.
We will be making an order form and instructions page soon for this.

We also have several old stores on Cafepress, and we will be updating all of those very soon. Some of them may be deleted, but updates in some way will happen. Each shop on Cafepress follows a theme due to the service only letting one of each product be used per shop. Zazzle is great in that it lets you do what you want. The only fall back right now is that Zazzle doesn’t have CDR production / printing. We will continue to use Cafepress for anything of that sort most likely.
