I have lost my world today
Living on altered dreams that seem empty
But I know somehow I’m gonna find my way
Through this eternal maze of painBombs, Crashing down, All around
I can’t, Hear a sound, In my head
I look, To the sky, I wonder “why?”
I wanna know, Is there a God
Looking down, Upon usI wander through, The battlefield
Scrambling over, Bits and pieces
Of those I, Once called friends
Trying to find an end to this mazeBombs, Crashing down, All around
I can’t, Hear a sound, In my head
I look, To the sky, I wonder “why?”
I wanna know, Is there a God
Looking down, Upon usI scream, But I hear nothing
I wander, Roaming meaninglessly
Please tell me, Will I ever find my way
Through the eternal maze of painHey! Hey! Watch out! Watch out!
Bullets blaze through the air
Bombs bursting everywhere
But I’m getting closer now!
End of the maze lies ahead
Yes I’m almost…

The maze is about a soldier in a war zone that is being bombed.
The maze symbolizes the struggle to find his way to safer ground so he can get the chance to fight back.
As he reaches the safer ground he is struck down,
Which is meant to show a true side of war.
Way too often our heros do not come back home.
My inspiration for this song was soldiers who fight for what they believe in.
This song is a tribute to all soldiers, and especially anyone who has ever lost their life
while fighting for what they believed in.
