Countless times, One after another
We battle the wars, Of our own existence
We’re living, But we’re dying
Little by little, And now…I run to you, but you just turn away
I really thought I could count on you
But you’re never there for meWe’re dragged down, And walked all over
There is little hope, Yet we somehow find it
Torn down repeatedly, Shattered to
A million pieces, And then…I run to you, but you just turn away
I really thought I could count on you
But you’re never there for meI run to you, but you just turn away
I really thought I could count on you
But you’re never there for meNow it’s your turn, To need someone
Just remember how cold, You are to everyone
It’s finally time, To fight your fight
But you find you need help, And now…You run to me, and I welcome you
You oughta know you can count on me
To treat you like a person tooYou run to me, but I don’t turn away
Now maybe you’ll open your eyes and see
That everyone’s the same insideYou run to me, and I do what I can
To make you feel safe and sound again
To make you see true life again

See is about a guy who is there for a girl whenever she needs him,
but when he needs her she turns his back on him time and time again.
My inspiration for See is friends who are only your friends when they want something, but cannot even talk to you otherwise.
I was also inspired to write this, because I was practicing playing keyboard.
